Dog Behavior Coach

As your Dog Behavior Coach, Jackie Schoonover works to help you better understand your dog and build strong leadership skills to support your dog. Because dogs count on us for direction, being a good leader fulfills their needs in much the same way they meet so many of our needs.

Jackie received her Certified Dog Trainer Certificate from the Animal Behavior College in 2017, after completing coursework and an internship with the Nebraska Humane Society in Omaha, Nebraska. She also completed an eight-month Dog Training Apprenticeship Program through Life Changing Dog Training (TM) where she worked with clients as a training assistant and was certified in the Communicative Leashwork Process (TM) in 2020.

Jackie lives in Lincoln, Nebraska in a balanced pack that includes her husband and two German Shepherds, Jacob and Leyna.  She volunteers for Muddy Paws Second Chance Rescue, the Nebraska Humane Society, and Cause for Paws.
